Overview of Organizational Restructuring

Wellneow Sugar will implement an absorption-type merger with its consolidated subsidiary, Toyo Seiko Chemical Co., Ltd., effective October 1, 2026, and will accordingly carry out organizational restructuring to establish a new Functional Materials Division. The new organization aims to promote the food science field and will be formed by integrating the Neo Functional Materials Department with related departments of Toyo Seiko Chemical.

Details of Executive Personnel Changes

In the executive personnel changes, Koji Anzai, an Executive Officer, will be appointed as the head of the Functional Materials Division, and Takashi Matsuzawa, a Director, will be appointed as Senior Managing Director of Toyo Seiko Chemical. Ichiro Takayanagi will assume the position of Vice Head of Production Division, and Noriyuki Tsunashima will assume the position of Director of Research and Development in the Functional Materials Division. Takashi Matsuzawa is scheduled to assume the position of President and Representative Director on June 18, 2026.
