Status of Domestic Technical Employee Headcount and Utilization Rate

As of the end of January 2026, the total domestic technical employee headcount was 24,257, representing a decrease of 184 from the previous month and a decrease of 95 compared to the same month last year. Meanwhile, the utilization rate stood at 94.6%, down 0.3 points from the previous month but up 1.4 points from the same month last year. The headcount for mechatronics and IT engineers was 15,630, declining by 106 from the prior month but increasing by 277 year-over-year, with the utilization rate rising by 2.0 points compared to the previous year. Construction engineers numbered 8,627, down 78 from the previous month and down 372 year-over-year, though the utilization rate improved by 0.5 points year-over-year.
