Business Overview

This quarter was the initial phase following the business integration with DVx Co., Ltd. Consolidated net sales were 31,454 million yen (Year-over-Year +2.0%). However, due to integration-related expenses and investments in personnel and DX, operating income was 141 million yen (Year-over-Year -45.5%), and net income attributable to owners of parent for the quarter was 36 million yen (Year-over-Year -77.9%). The consolidated scope newly includes Sogo Medical Services Co., Ltd., and goodwill of 1,560,005 thousand yen was recorded.

Outlook and Strategy

The company aims to expand sales channels and improve logistics and DX efficiency through synergies from the integration. While one-off expenses such as DX promotion costs are affecting results amid structural changes in the medical device market, the full-year forecast has been published separately. By segment, measures to increase sales will continue in medical devices, SPD and caregiving products. Emphasis will be placed on building a long-term growth platform through new headquarters relocation, workforce strengthening, and IT investments.
