Business highlights

For the first quarter ended, consolidated cumulative period, net sales were 1,204,440 thousand yen, operating loss △6,463 thousand yen, ordinary loss △3,612 thousand yen, and net loss attributable to owners of the parent of △12,667 thousand yen. YoY comparisons are not provided because quarterly consolidated financial statements began to be disclosed from the third quarter. By segment: Verification Business achieved net sales of 718,276 thousand yen and segment profit of 105,272 thousand yen; Development Business achieved net sales of 486,163 thousand yen and segment profit of 63,474 thousand yen. Financial position and outlook

Total assets were 2,157,123 thousand yen, net assets 1,151,155 thousand yen, and the equity ratio 53.4% (approximately the same as the previous year-end). Reductions in cash and deposits and accounts receivable decreased assets, while liabilities decreased due to a reduction in long-term borrowings.
